Riccardo D’Urso was born in Naples in November 1, 1970. Graduated at the Istituto Universitario Orientale, he specialized in the Study of Japanise language and philosophy at the Tokyo Naganuma School, Osaka Gaidai University and later at the Kyoto Hanazono University. He has been living and working in Japan since 1994. He starts studying and working as marketing consultant in 1998, collaborating with the major Japanese trading companies and with key Department Stores, dealing with design events for the promotion of Made in Italy and brand management. In 2001, Riccardo collaborated with the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the Italian Festival in Japan and until 2009 he was the author of numerous Italian start-up in Japan. In 2010, he founded the project Streamit Japan, the first Italian web TV 3.0 for the promotion of Italy in Japan funded by the Ministry of Economic Development, which immediately became a reference point for the major Italian institutions. In 2012, he was apponted by the High Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the Yeosu Expo in Venlo and for the web television communication management of the Italian Pavilion. In 2013, he became CEO of “Le Mappe dei Tesori d’Italia” Association, sponsored by all the Italian ministries and by EXPO Milano, of which opened a branch in Nagoya. In 2014, he founded the Association “Tesori of Japan”, of which he is currently president, WJ Network and WJTv, evolution of the platform Streamit Japan.
