Intimate, familiars and secret moments: an unedited, unknown and tender Pino Daniele
The Art Palace of Naples – Pan – will host from mid-October to mid-January 2016 this exclusive exhibit composed by 180 photos and 3-4 hours of videos realized by the photographer Alessandro d’Urso.
The exhibition, realized with the support of Fabiola Sciabbarrasi, wife of the artist, and their sons, has been strongly sought by the mayor of the city of Naples, Luigi de Magistris.
“In the halls – as D’Urso explained – photo shoots able to tell to the public which loved the half-Black, not only the artist, but “especially the man, the father, the husband, the friend Pino”.
Visitors will live the private and artistic history of Pino Daniele from the Nineties to the 2009, the more intensive period of the musician that, in these two decades, has collaborated with international artists as Pat Metheny, Al di Meola, Peter Erskine, Rachel Z, Jimmy Earl and many Italian artists as Fiorella Mannoia, Francesco De Gregori, Ron, 99 Posse.
The exhibit is the result of the twenty-year friendship between Daniele and D’Urso, who has realized for the artist eight disk covers and different materials. A project that – has been underlined – does not want to be “a sad memory, but a living memorial in the spirit of the man and of the extraordinary artist”. (Repubblica.it-Napoli)
WJNetwork, official sponsor of the exposure named “20 Anni con Pino (Addòve)”, will follow this event step by step, promoting also in Japan the memory of one of the biggest Artists and Character of Naples, and of Italy.
